Meanings

bhā́sati bhā́sate v PPP bhāsitá 2 (q.v.) shine, be bright, appear as or like (N or I), become clear or obvious, be imagined or conceived. Caus. bhāsayati, te make shine, illuminate, cause to appear as (I), show, manifest.

 

ava Ā shine, light, become manifest, appear as (I or Adv in vat). Caus. shine upon, illumine.

ā Ā appear as (iva).

ud shine forth, make a show, catch the eye. Caus. illumine (Ā), illustrate, embellish. samud shine with (I).

nis Caus. illumine.

pari Ā appear, look like (iva). Caus. beautify, adorn.

pra shine, be bright, appear like (iva). Caus. illumine, illustrate.
