The form īryayati, doubtless false, is found once in ŚB. Meaningsī́rte v PPP īrṇá trans. set in motion, impel, further; intrans. stir, move, rise. Caus. īráyati, te, PPP īritá = S. tr ; also bring forth. raise (the voice), utter, proclaim, cite; P. be raised, uttered, called.
