Meanings

púpyāta v (púpyāte, pupṇāti & poṣati), PPP puṣṭá (q.v.) intrans. thrive, bloom, grow, prosper; trans. cause to thrive etc; cherish, foster, develop, unfold, display, possess, enjoy. Caus. poṣayati cherish, foster, rear, bring up, cause to be nourished by (I).

 

uda (utpuṣṇāti) nourish, make fat.
