Meanings

mūrchati v PPP mūrtá & mūrchita (q.v.) become rigid, coagulate, thicken, increase, grow, sound loudly; become torpid or senseless, faint away, swoon. Caus. mūrchayati (te) cause to thicken; form, shape, strengthen, augment, excite, rouse.

 

sam thicken, coagulate, become firm or solid, sound loudly. Caus. stupefy, stun.
