The accent rícyate is quotable only from TS., and ricyáte only from ŚB.
Meaningsriṇákti v PPP riktá (q.v.) leave, clear (a room), let go, let free; deliver up, part with, sell; leave behind, supplant. P.Ā ricyáte, rícyate be emptied, be deprived of or freed from (I), be destroyed, perish. Caus. recayati make empty, give up, abandon; emit breath (mārutam).
