Meanings

tyajati 1 v (te), PPP tyaktá (tyajita) leave, abandon, let alone, spare, avoid, shun, dismiss, shoot off, cast away, put off, get rid of (also P. tyajyate w. I); disregard, neglect, renounce, give up; w. tanum, jīvitam, prāṇān = set aside or risk body or life, also = die. Caus. tyājayati cause to leave or abandon, deprive of (2A), expel, turn out (bahis).

pari leave, abandon, expel, reject, put off, give up, disregard, neglect, set aside, risk (cf. S.).

sam leave, abandon, reject, shun, avoid, withdraw from (A), deliver, give up, etc. (= pari). Caus. deprive of (2A).
