manth mathnā́ti mathnīte máthati 1 v (te), mánthati, te, PPP mathitá stir, whirl (w. agním excite fire by attrition), churn, produce by churning; shake, agitate, confuse, crush, grind, oppress, afflict, destroy, annihilate. Caus. manthayati cause (milk) to be churned.
