manda , mádati, mádate, mándati, mándate, mamátti, mā́dyati, PPP mattá v (q.v.) bubble, undulate, boil, be agitated or (pleasantly) excited; rejoice at, revel in (I, G, or L, r. A), be mad or drunk with (I); gladden, delight, exhilarate, intoxicate. Caus. madáyati, te, mādayati, te & mandayati, te P (Ā) = S. trans. ; Ā the same refl.

 

anu shout or hail to, acclaim (A).

abhi be glad or gladden.

ud be excited or out of one's senses; gladden, exhilarate. Caus. excite, confuse, madden.

upa rouse, encourage.

pra rejoice, exult, be careless about (Ab) not attend to, take it easy. abhipra gladden, exhilarate; perplex, confound.

vi be perplexed or confused; confound, embarrass, disturb.

sam rejoice together at (I).
